You already know these are two of my favorite rappers currently. Bringing a dope charisma and style their own, I hope we get to see these guys reap the fruit of their labor. In this video we had pleasure to interview The Black Sunn and 810 before they performed at The Come Up concert in Brooklyn. Check it out. A bit lengthy, but worth the watch. #Unitedivision out now!!! Be sure to get it and support great music. Check it out here.
GREAT SCOTT…. Oh man, if you love me, you’ll get this for me. I can’t believe it’s almost 2015. What’s more I can’t believe that the sneakers Marty Mcfly wore in Back to The Future II may actually be a reality to buy…. #ugh I want like 3 pairs for real. Here is Hypebeast is reporting it.
Following endless speculation about this week’s “secret” event going down in Los Angeles, Nike gives us an official teaser into the return of the Nike MAG, of course made popular by the Back to the Future film franchise. No further details are available but could this mean that the almighty Marty McFly petition finally worked its magic? Stay tuned for further news shortly.
Remember a while back when we said we were going to the Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean show in Central Park? Yea I know… you probably forgot. Sorry, thats how we do it over here. Extremely late responses, but I assure you it isn’t at all intentional. Sadly GKS alone doesn’t pay the bills right now, so we have to still work for “the man.” Our work schedules are crazy, so editing photos and documentation gets put on the back burner sometimes. So again sorry. But here is a Video we did in conjunction with the event. Enjoy and tell us what you think. (Sidenote: We still have to put up the pics as well… #ugh)
Listen, if I’ve ever directed you towards some new music or just brought something to your attention that you’ve might have missed, I hope you pay attention now. This is beyond a doubt something you need in your collection. The smooth sounds of The Black Sunn & 810 on there highly anticipated project Unitedivision. We actually conducted an interview with the dope spitters when we checked out The Come Up Concert last Friday. Sadly, the filmer of the footage hasn’t been able to get us a copy of the video as of yet. Until we are able to get it, you can check it out via his website: www.truekaox.com
“We are trying to show the world Baltimore, not just what you saw on The Wire,” says The Black Sunn, who proudly represents Baltimore in his music, speaking on the tough aspects of growing up in a financially depressed, often overlooked community, without relying on the drug-addled tales shown on TV. “We show the other side, but everything we do, we bring it back to Baltimore.”
